Charge fast and embark on a sustainable journey with e-charge and Mastercard

Renovatio e-charge and Mastercard are launching the campaign " Charge fast and embark on a sustainable journey with e-charge and Mastercard", aimed at promoting both electric mobility and the use of electronic payments as part of everyday life.

The campaign "Charge fast and embark on a sustainable journey with e-charge and Mastercard" will continue from April 1, 2025, at 00:00 to February 28, 2026, at 23:59, with a limit of 6,050 discount vouchers, each worth 50 lei. It is available exclusively through the e-charge mobile application.

You are eligible to join the campaign if you have a valid account in the e-charge mobile application and an active associated e-wallet..

If you top up your e-charge e-wallet with at least 150 lei using your Mastercard, you automatically receive a 50 (fifty) lei discount voucher in your e-charge account. You can benefit from a maximum of 1 discount voucher in each month of the campaign.

Vouchers are activated monthly, during the first 5 working days of the following month, based on qualifying transactions. Vouchers for August will be activated in the first 5 working days of September, provided you meet the conditions outlined in section 4.1 of the Campaign Regulations.

The discount voucher allows a single use, at any Renovatio e-charge owned stations and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. For the avoidance of any doubt, vouchers are not valid at stations marked "Partner / Roaming" in the e-charge mobile application.

What does the Mastercard discount voucher mean?

The Mastercard voucher is a virtual discount voucher that offers you a 50 lei discount on a charging session.

You receive the discount voucher automatically in your e-charge app account. It is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

A discount is usable once at any eligible Renovatio e-charge owned stations (excluding those marked “Partner” or “Roaming” in the app).

The discount voucher is applied after a charging session ends. In this regard, you must ensure that you have sufficient funds in your e-charge e-wallet to cover the costs of the session you intend to initiate. If the session costs less than 50 lei, the voucher covers it entirely, and no money is deducted from your e-wallet. If the session costs more than 50 lei, the voucher covers 50 lei, and the remaining amount is taken from your e-wallet.

To start a session, your wallet must have at least 30 lei, even if using a Mastercard voucher If you estimate that you will exceed this value, please ensure that you have the charging session value in your e-charge e-wallet.

You can receive a maximum of 1 discount voucher in each month of the campaign.

How, when and how many Mastercard* discount vouchers do I receive?

You receive a discount voucher if:

You have an account in the e-charge application with an active e-wallet and
You have topped up the wallet with at least 150 lei in a single transaction using a Mastercard *or Maestro* card (credit, debit, or commercial) issued in Romania.
*Any Mastercard or Maestro cards (credit, debit or commercial), issued in Romania participates in this Campaign.

Vouchers are automatically received in your e-charge client account, in the first 5 working days of the month, if you made eligible transactions in the previous month.

You can receive a maximum of 1 discount voucher in each calendar month of the campaign.

How do I use the Mastercard discount voucher?

Enter the e-charge mobile application
Select the location, station and type of connector you want to use;
Start charging by pressing "Start Charging".
Select the discount voucher you want to use;
The session initializes;
Follow the instructions on the station display;
To stop, go to “Current Session” in the e-charge mobile app and tap “Stop Charging”.

Vouchers disappear from your account after use, even if not fully used. Make sure you use the entire amount before stopping the charging, otherwise the unused amount will be lost. If you don’t select a voucher before charging, the session will be billed at the standard rate and the voucher will remain active in thee-charge mobile application.
